I am going to be a freshman in highschool subsequent year and i would like to start fundraising for cancer. my family has been touched by cancer several times and i have lost numerous enjoy ones to it. My notion is to fundraise for susan g. klomen but i want to make it my personal so men and women will not feel of my efforts as just another cancer fund. I was wondering if any one had thought on how i could raise a lot of money to go to the susan g klomen foundations. or any techniques that i cant strengthen my fundraising

Does your school have relay for life?
If not you ought to get your school to do it.

It is like a walk as soon as a year your school will hold on it’s track and raise dollars for cancer.
There will be various teams men and women put together and it is a really enjoyable time.

Our school did a skip-a-thon once, although I can´t remember what it was we raised money for. But it was a lot of fun – each person got sponsors for how long they could skip (how many turns of a few minutes long, or something….).
For the less sporty, we also did a play-a-thon – it was 24 hours of non-stop theatre, done by the theatre dept. at the school. We practiced short sketches and did them, or performed stuff we´d been rehearsing anyway, read monoloques, sang songs etc. That was a blast. We all slept (or rather, didn´t sleep) over at the school that night. Great!
