Question by Ben B: What are some good ideas for fundraising in-school for charity?
I am the President of the Sophmore class of Lake Region Union High School, in Northern Vermont. I’ve been approved to lead a fundraising effort for charity with my class. The rest of the class representitives have agreed we should do something with an ecological charity like the Arbor Day Foundation. We’d prefer it to be a low, or no cost fundraiser. Does anyone have some ideas?

I assume you all want to eat during the day.
How about nobody buying junk food or pre-packed food. Bring something from home that you (or a well-meaning relative) have prepared. If it is a nice day you could have a big picnic and share with your class. The money you save by not buying junk food could be given to charity.
Maybe this idea is not perfect but you could expand on it. Over to you.
